Join Nancy Basket, local treasure and delightful teacher, to learn how to turn pervasive vines into functional and beautiful hand woven baskets. This class, we will make a ribbed basket. Learn how to work with fast growing plants instead of maligning them! You’ll leave this class with your own basket and the skills to make your own at home.
Advance tickets ($75) are required to ensure we have enough materials - and space is limited.
All materials will be provided.
Children are welcome to attend and make a basket free of charge if they are with a paying adult. Nancy encourages and enjoys youth participation. If your child loses interest in the class, it is the responsibility of the guardian to stay with that child.
Feel free to come early (11am) and bring lunch to share in a potluck with Nancy beforehand.
